Recently, the north wind has been getting colder, and surface intervals on the boat have been really chilly
Malapascua is one of the colder areas in Cebu during this season, with water temperatures dropping to around 25–27°C, so a 5mm wetsuit is recommended.
It’s also a good idea to bring a windbreaker or something similar to stay warm on the boat.
The winds are gradually calming down, and with Chinese New Year coming next month, the island is expected to become lively and festive!
