Hello!
This is Kenta.
After seeing so many thresher sharks over the past few days, we were all pretty satisfied, so today we headed to Gato Island.
There’s a cave there, but it’s currently closed due to last year’s earthquake until its safety can be confirmed.
We were able to go near the entrance/exit area, and when we did, a big whitetip shark was cruising around.
After that, we even spotted a rare baby bamboo shark—it was really cute.
I don’t think you can see those very often around here.
It was our first time back at Gato in a while, and it was a lot of fun.
The cave photos are from the past, just for reference.
